Breakfast Granola

Quick and easy every day breakfast granola. This is a recipe that will easily slip into your weekly routine, to provide a tasty home made breakfast cereal that is naturally sweetened and made with simple nutritious ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g Whole Oats
  • 100 g Mixed Nuts
  • 40 g Honey
  • 20 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil
  • 50 g Raisins Optional

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Baking Tray
  • Non stick baking mat Or parchment paper, baking paper, tin foil etc

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (160 fan) / 355 degrees F and prepare a baking tray by covering it with a layer of baking/parchment paper.
  2. Add 20 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 40 g Honey, 150 g Whole Oats to a mixing bowl and stir until all of the oats are coated in the liquid
  3. Add in 100 g Mixed Nuts and 50 g Raisins (if using)
  4. Add the mixture to the prepared baking tray in one even layer. Bake for 10-12 minutes mixing around half way through baking, to ensure that the granola cooks evenly.
  5. Cool and enjoy
